All About the Kiwi Bird

That bird looks kind of cool what is it? It's A kiwi
bird. Kiwi birds are only found in New Zealand. If you find
one it will probably be in it’s borrow sleeping, that's
because kiwi’s are nocturnal. Although,they have been
spotted in daylight.

Kiwi birds look different. Kiwis have feathers like hair and
have a 15 cm long beak, that means they can stick their
nose all the way in the ground and find all sorts of bugs to
eat. They are usually brown but can also be white. Their
eyes are not that good, it is hard for them to see. They
are about the size of a chicken and weigh 2-11 pounds. They
are normally about 14-25 inches long.

 Kiwi birds can also be white.
