Personal Narrative

Last May, my baseball team traveled to Delaware for a
tournament. At the resort where we were staying, each
townhouse had its own golf cart to use around the property. I
loved riding in the golf cart with my dad.

One afternoon, my dad drove for a while and then suddenly
pulled over.  He asked me if I wanted to switch spots and drive
the golf cart! Of course, I said yes!  As I started to drive, my dad
said, ¨Luke, while you drive I will take pictures and send them
to Mom.¨ My dad let me drive to  the restaurant and park the
golf cart. I was extremely careful. After dinner, my dad let me
drive around some more. Then my dad and I picked up our
dog and put him in the golf cart. I thought that my dog would
be afraid, but he wasn’t--he loved it! Then we drove back to
the condo with my dog and picked up my brother for a ride.  
We let him sit in the back and he loved seeing what we
passed. We drove by waterfalls and beautiful lakes. There
were also a lot of animals and birds. Then we went back to
the condo and I played on my iPad for the rest of the day. I
played Fortnite and watched a video.

After that, we all went for a bike ride. it was very fun we went
passed the waterfall again. And passed golf courses  and
later we went to play golf--of course we took the golf cart and
I drove. With some practice, I turned out to be a very good
driver. I actually got the opportunity to drive a golf cart again in
the Dominican Republic. I was more comfortable behind the wheel
this time.
