It crouches as if spring loaded watching and waiting for the sparrow
who munches happily on bagel crumbs that ever so conveniently leads
toward the bush where the cat waits to pounce. As the sparrow stumbles
from crumb to crumb suddenly the sparrow is in range and the cat pounces
landing directly on top of the bird a perfectly calculated move.
Then comes the sickening crunch as the cat snaps the neck of the sparrow
then a pool of red stains the cat's feet as it walks away red pawed.
