 The Salem Witch Trials

The Salem witch trials started in 1692 and ended in 1693.
The Salem witch trials were horrible people were hanged, burned,
pressed and all sorts of different  ways of torture. It all started with two
girls named Betty and Abigail Paris they were acting strangely and
people described it as fits and they were saying they were under an evil
hand or in other words they were bewitched. At there house they had a
slave named Tituba and they started to believe she was a witch and she
caused there fits because the girls were saying they saw her specter
coming to hurt them even though she was in a different room. Because
of that the parrises kicked her out of their house and then the girls said
two other people were witches and were hurting them and they were
Sarah good and Sarah Osborne and then the Salem witch trials started.
The three suspects were questioned and thrown in jail but then shortly
after two more girls started acting strangely and they were Ann Putnam
and Elizabeth Hubbard and they said Sarah good and Sarah Osborne was
hurting them to and then a lot of other people started saying their were
being attacked by a witch and the suspects were questioned and thrown
in jail and then hung some people were burned one man was pressed
pressing is were people take heavy rocks and place them on your chest
and keep adding more and more rocks and more and more weight and
then they left the man and then he eventually got crushed and they left
him there for 2 days and then he got crushed. Two women were burned
burning is where you get tied to a pole a wood gets piled around your
feet and set on fire the rest of the people that were suspects were
hung.

So in conclusion Salem witch trials were a bad time to live in because
people got killed for no reason by being accused of witchcraft.
