The Bell 47 Versus The H-5
The Bell 47 and H-5 are alike and also different. The Sikorsky helicopter  H-5,
also known as S-51 and the Bell 47 were made by a Sikorsky design VS-327.
These helicopters are both made by Sikorsky Aircraft Company. The Bell 47
and the H-5 were both used in war. The Bell 47 went to  U.S. military in the late
1940s. The H-5 and Bell 47 both are utility helicopters. Sikorsky H-5
helicopter was a three rotor helicopter as the bell 47 was a two rotor helicopter.
They were both used by the British army and made by Westland aircraft under
license. That is how the Bell 47 and the H-5 are alike and also different.
