Passage to Freedom

Do you like a  book where somebody saves
the day and helps a ton of people?  Then you
should read “Passage To Freedom” by Ken
Mochizuki. My thesis is that Borislav in the
book changed a lot of people lives.

I think that Borislav protected people from the
Nazis. The father's son said ¨Borislav  opened
the garage door and the crowd rushed in. To
keep order Borislav handed out cards with
numbers. Borislav  wrote out each visa by
hand.” He gave a little boy money to buy
butter. The boy did not have money so
Borislav gave the boy some money. I picked
the quote because  he was handing out visas
which was protecting.

Borislav also helped people around the globe.
Borislav helped Jewish refugees in Russia,
Germany, Poland, France,Japan, England
and China. He accepted many refugees that
came to his house.
The father said this, ¨I cannot help these
people yet but when the time comes I will
help them all that I can.¨  I picked this quote
because it explains that Borislav was helping
people around the globe. Borislav said when
the ¨time comes I will do all that I can to help
them.¨

He made the crowd  happy for accepting
them. Everybody was hugging each other
and they were really excited  He wrote out
visas’ for refugees. He let the refugees
live in a park behind his apartment. They
were really excited.
The father said ¨I have to do something. I may
have to disobey my government, but if I don´t
I will be disobeying God.¨ I picked that quote
because it was something that would've made
the refugees happy.

Conclusion
The father was saving lives. The father was
helping those refugees.  He gave a little boy
money because he didn't have enough. Also
he wrote out visas for people and he also he
made people really happy because those
people were hugging each other because
they were happy.
Finally that is why I think that the father was
changing lives.
