Bunchy Is Unique
What people need to know is that my dog Bunchy is very strange. Many people
don’t know that, but it is true. Bunchy is unique. He is unique because he is
very protective, he acts strange out of the house, and he is not too bright.
don’t know that, but it is true. Bunchy is unique. He is unique because he is
very protective, he acts strange out of the house, and he is not too bright.
One reason that Bunchy is unique is because he is very protective. For
example, he sits on my feet. He sits on my feet when I’m going to the bus stop,
he sits on my feet when someone walks in the house, and last when people
walk out of the house. This shows that Bunchy is protective because if
someone were to attack me, they would have to attack him first. Another
example that Bunchy is very protective is that last summer my cousin
Makana's parents had to go to work, so they dropped her off at my house.
She noticed that I had putty, so she took it and ran into the kitchen. When
Bunchy saw her running, he thought she was threatening me. Bunchy then bit
her even though when he is on his hind legs, she’s triple his height. This shows
Bunchy is protective because she bit Makana when he thought she was
harming me. Another example is one time I was cuddling with my cat, and
Bunchy started growling. I bet he thought my cat was going to scratch me.
He probably thought that because my cats are a lot stronger and faster than
him. This proves Bunchy is protective because he is making sure my cat won’t
attack me. These are examples of Bunchy being protective.

Another reason that Bunchy is unique is because he is not very bright. One
example is that recently when I got home from basketball practice, I went to
take a shower. Joey (my brother) suddenly burst out of his door and said, “That
dog is so dumb he won’t even dodge this.” Then he took two socks out of a
laundry basket and pushed them together to make a ball and chucked it up at
the top of the stairs at Bunchy. Thankfully, he did not hit Bunchy a single time
because it is very hard to throw from a chair. This shows Bunchy is not very
bright because he wouldn’t dodge the socks. My second piece of evidence that
Bunchy is not very bright is that when he comes up when it is my bedtime,
while I brush my teeth he sits at the top of my bed. That means he will always
have to move when I come in the bed. This proves Bunchy is not very bright
because he has to do more work. My last example is one Sunday night when
I was watching America’s Funniest Home Videos, Joey came into the living
room with his wheelchair. Bunchy then sprinted away. This shows Bunchy is
not too bright because he is scared of an inanimate object like a wheelchair.

Although Bunchy is unique because he is protective and he is not very bright,
it is especially true that Bunchy is unique because he acts strangely when he’s
out of the house. For example, one afternoon when my mom took Bunchy on a
walk, there was a big puddle. The puddle was next to our neighbor’s house
where Bunchy and another dog were playing. Since Bunchy was having so
much fun, Mom let him of the leash. As soon as she did, he bolted for the
puddle and dived into it. This shows Bunchy acts strangely out of the house
because he chose a puddle over a dog. Another example that Bunchy acts
strange out of the house is that one time when I let Bunchy out in the backyard,
when I let him in his head smelled really bad. Only his head smelled. This
shows he acts strangely out of the house because when he smelled poop,
he rubbed his head in it. My last example of how Bunchy acts strange out of
the house is that when I go on a walk with him he always tugs on the leash.
He also makes loops around trees so the leash gets tangled. Finally, he
sometimes pees leaning forward but he also lifts his leg up. This shows he
acts strangely out of the house because he does weird stuff on walks.

I have realized that Bunchy is very special because of his actions. I learned
that because he does strange stuff when he is not in the house, he guards me
like I am the President, and he is not that smart. If you knew Bunchy as well
as I do, you would know that all of this is true.
