The Best Birthday

Have you ever thought about how special your friend’s birthday
is to her? Throughout your life, your friends think that about you.
My birthday is special to me because my family does such amazing
things for me.  My mom bakes such amazing cakes, my family gets
me such amazing gifts, and because my family sings ¨Happy
Birthday!¨

One reason why my birthday is special is because my mom bakes
such amazing cakes, with such cool designs and detail. For
example, she made me princess cakes, Aurora, Ariel, Cinderella,
Rapunzel, Belle, and Elsa and Anna. My mom lets me pick my cake
theme and flavor.

Last year my birthday theme was Moana! I sat at the table
when the lights were turned off, and my mom turned around
with the cake in her hands. My mouth dropped, I saw a wave.
It had sharp edges with a blue color to it. It looked like an
actual wave with Moana and Maui on their boat. These are
examples of how my mom makes my birthday so special by
baking such cool cakes.

Another reason why my birthday is special is because my
family sings, “Happy Birthday!” For example I get to make
wishes. I like to sing ¨Happy Birthday to me,¨ to myself.

A few years ago I was waking up, and I realized no one was
in their room. I put on my sweatpants and walked downstairs.
I went into the kitchen, and the lights were off. I turned
them on. Then everyone jumped up and scared me while
singing, “Happy Birthday!” I love when my family sings,
“Happy Birthday!” I especially love when they scare me.
These are examples of how my family singing, “Happy
Birthday,” makes my birthday so special.

The last reason why my birthday is special is because my
family gets me such amazing gifts. For example, my family
got me a mermaid blanket. They also gave me an Empire
State Building erector set which I built myself. Last year
I was eating cake when my mom yelled, “Present Time!” I
rushed and started bringing the gifts into the kitchen. As I
opened my gifts, I was thinking about getting my ears
pierced. Then I saw lots of small boxes in a bag. I opened
one box, and peace sign earrings were glittering inside the
box, I kept on opening little boxes, and more earrings
showed. My family gets me such amazing gifts.

In conclusion, my family does such amazing things for me
which makes my birthday so special. Have you ever wanted
such amazing cakes made by your mom, loved when ¨Happy
Birthday¨is sang to you by your family, or have gotten such
amazing gifts from your family? That's why my birthday is
special.
