Chapter 1: Cat Bodies

Cat’s bodies have some really cool features.

The cats whiskers help cats feel what is around them, cool huh?!  Cats
have padded feet and inside the paws there are claws.  When they lick
you, their tongue feels like many little spikes.

When a cat sees food their eyes get really big and they start to meow and
purr.  Their eyes also get big when they see a mouse, but they stay very
quiet so they can pounce on the mouse.

A cat can hear things up to a mile away, cool right?!  Their ears are a
very important part of their body so they can kill the animals that they
want to eat like a mouse. It is also very important for them to hear so that
they can hear if a predator is coming.

The cats claws and ears are what helps the cats survive the most in the
wild.
