Rainbow Fish Baby Literary Essay

Today I read the book Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. The story is about
Rainbow fish he has shiny scales. Rainbow fish turned selfish to

caring. He also just said no to a little fish.


In the beginning rainbow fish was selfish because he just cared about himself
and he said no to a little fish and the fish just wanted one little scale. This
shows that he is selfish by saying, “Who do you think you are?” “Get away
from me!” This shows that he is selfish by saying get away

from me and that means get away from me.


In the middle of the story rainbow fish is caring now because he went to a
octopus and she said give the scales. Then he said no and them the little blue
fish was back and he begged rainbow fish for a scale. Then rainbow fish gave
a scale. He didn’t miss just one little scale. This shows that rainbow fish is
caring because he said, “Well maybe I won’t  miss just one scale.”



In the end of the story rainbow fish is caring, he gave everyone a scale.
This shows that Rainbow fish is caring. this part proves that rainbow fish is
caring by him saying “I will play with you.” This part shows that he is caring by
playing after bullying and he still cares.


All these examples show how rainbow fish turned from selfish to caring.
Rainbow fish learned that you need to let things go.
