I am a starfish

I wonder why I'm on the sand

I hear the ocean splashing

I see people making castles

I want to be in the sky

I am on the wet sand

I pretend to be in the sky

I feel wet and cold

I touch the  splashing water

I understand I'm not a star

I say I wish I was in the sky

I dream that I will soar across

the sky
