I am a Nike soccer ball.

I wonder why people kick me.

I hear people yelling, “Pass!”

I see goals and sweaty people.

I want to be free from being kicked.

I am sick of being kicked around.

I pretend I'm a baseball.

I feel bored of being kicked.

I touch the wet ground.

I understand why people kick me.

I say “Why are you kicking me?!”

I dream to be free from all this kicking.
