Clancy the Courageous Cow

Clancy the Courageous Cow is a book about a cow who looks different
from his herd.  In the beginning, Clancy was embarrassed that he didn't
have a white belt like all the others in his herd and the cows were very
unfriendly to him.  He then discovered that being different helped him to
do things that cows in his herd couldn´t do and he was able to help his
herd. In the end, Clancy teaches the herd that they are all cows no matter
what they look like. Clancy the Cow was brave and hardworking.  I thought
Clancy was brave because he made friends with someone in a different
herd. Another time Clancy was brave was when he asked his herd to
share land with another herd. Clancy was hard working because he had
to train hard for the wrestling contest. Another time Clancy was
hardworking was when he was trying to make himself look like the
others in his herd.

In this book, the author is trying to tell us to stop hiding what makes you
different and be proud of who you are.  The other message is to work
together and share.
