Rainbow Fish Baby Literary Essay

I read the book called Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Kind Rainbow fish
changed from mean and selfish to being very kind.

In the beginning of the story Rainbow Fish is selfish. In the text it said ”You want
me to give you one of special scales? Who do you think you are? Get away
from me!” This shows that rainbow fish is selfish.

In the middle of story Rainbow fish gave away one scale and then he felt
happier. In the text it said,”A rather peculiar feeling came over the rainbow fish.
This shows that rainbow fish was starting to change.

At the end of the story rainbow fish is kind because in the text it said, "Come
on rainbow fish. Come and play with us. Here I come!” This shows that rainbow
fish did change and he will be no longer the most beautiful in the ocean but the
fish who has a million friends.

In the story, I learned that it doesn't matter if you’re beautiful. What matters is
if you have friends and family who love you for who you are.
