HOMEWORK

Imagine right when you get home from school or your job you
had to keep working. That's what it's like at my school because
we have homework a lot. We should have no homework
because  we don't have time to do what we want. If we didn't
have homework, it would be good for teachers too, and we
would do better in school. That is why I think we should have no
homework.  

One reason that there should be no homework is you do better
in school without homework. You do better in school with no
homework because once in 3rd grade I had to write an essay for
homework, so I was up very late writing it. The next day I was
late To school, and I was tired the whole day because I had
homework. This proves you would do better in school without
homework because you wouldn’t be tired, so you would focus
more. Some more reasons you would do better in school
without homework are you wouldn’t be late to school because
you wouldn’t be doing homework in the morning, so you would
learn more stuff and you wouldn’t be worried about getting extra
homework so you wouldn’t rush. This shows you do better in
school without homework because if you focus more you learn
more.  If you don´t rush, you get more practice.

Another reason that there should be no homework is teachers
don’t like homework either. An example of this is is one time in
first grade I asked my teacher if she thought there should be
homework, and the answer was no. Later that day I saw
Mr. Brownstein in the hallway and asked him if he thought we
should have homework, and the answer was no. This shows
teachers don’t like homework which proves no homework
would be good for teachers too. Some more reasons no
homework would be good for teachers too are teachers
wouldn’t have to make homework or need to check homework.

My third reason there should be no homework is that with no
homework you would have more time to do what you want  
without homework. An example of this is once last year I had
baseball practice and lots of homework on the same day.
I went to baseball practice, and when I got home I didn’t have
enough time to finish my homework. Some more examples of
this is you can play video games or any other hobbies if there
was no homework.  This shows that with no homework you
would have more time to do what you want because without
homework you would have more time for video games or any
other hobbies.

In conclusion, school would be better without homework. Some
reasons for this are you would have more free time without
homework, teachers would enjoy no homework too and kids do
worse in school with homework. All of this shows, no homework
would be better for everyone!
