My Dad Was Cutting Down Trees

I was in my house watching TV, when I saw my dad
cutting down trees, I wanted to go out there and
watch them cut down the trees.

One of the logs he split into pieces. The pieces where
about 2,000 or 3,000 pounds. I put my hand between
two of them. One slid down and my hand got stuck.
My hand got crushed by the logs! I tried pulling it out
but my mom said “DO NOT PULL and keep your hand
still,”. It hurt so bad. I felt like my hand was getting
ran over by a car! I was so scared! My mom and dad
were scared too. They freaking out! My mom was so
scared she did not want to look! My parents were
trying to figure out what to do.

My dad’s friend was going to use his tractor to move
the log. My mom said “NO!” because it could take my
hand off.

“I will be right back,” said my dad. My dad ran and
went to get  a wedge and a sledgehammer. When he
came back he slowly wedged the logs apart from each
other.

When my hand got out it looked so red it looked like
ketchup. It had a big white line across it. I walked
inside and had to stick it in a bowl of ice. I had to
keep it in there for five to 10 minutes. After that
when my hand was a little better I went out to climb
on  climbed on the branches when they finished
cutting down the trees.
