Heroes

In this book Heroes, by Ken Mochizuki there are lots of

lessons that teaches everyone no matter how old

or how young everyone has a little something they can

enjoy! My thesis is Just because your different

doesn't mean you can't live In peace & Harmony. My  

first big reason is (DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS

COVER)! My next big reason is that ( Zack, Reggie &

Tori Might be scared of Donnie because of the

bombing of Pearl Harbor so the boys choose to think

that bad guys can not live in harmony even thought

Donnie is not the bad guy.  My last reason is that

(Zach, Reggie, & Tori push Donnie around cause they

cant accept Diversity that everyone is Different on

their own special way).

One lesson is, don't judge a book by its cover. “In the

book Donnie wanted to play football but Zach, Reggie, &

Tori wanted to play (WAR) Cause they say they always

have a bad guy to fight (DONNIE).  Right when they saw

Donnie's dad and uncle in their war uniforms they

immediately gave respect even though they should have

just believed Donnie but they wanted to get him

embarrassed. Donnie’s dad and uncle fought for America

and kids thought because they’re from Korea they can't

protect America.

Zach & Reggie & Tori might be scared of Donnie because

of the bombing of Pearl Harbor so they choose that they

can't live in harmony even thought Donnie is not a bad guy.

Donnie's is from Korea & Zach, Reggie, & Tori are from

AMERICA. This gives me the idea of my thesis. It also

gives me the idea why they treat Donnie unfairly!  The only

reason they wanted to play war was because they always

had someone to fight ( DONNIE).

They try to be the bigger person by Commanding Donnie

to do what they want.They push Donnie around cause they

cant accept diversity that everyone is different in there

own special way!

They always command Donnie to do what they want because

he is different. In the book it says ”Get moving Donnie

Zach commanded”. This shows that they think they can

do whatever they want to people that may not be them.  

Zach, Reggie, & Tori bring toy guns into the woods so they

can shoot Donnie. In the book it says “Tori had all the toy

guns”. I don't get why they only make fun of Donnie when

everyone's different.They act like it's a joke treating

Donnie like they do so they just say stuff before they

think like “Your a bad guy we're gonna hunt you down.

Evan thought Donnie's a good guy they say he's  a bad

guy because where he's from there are some bad guys

but that does not mean Donnie's different.

Conclusion

In the book heroes by Ken Mochizuki. My first thesis

“Don't judge  book by its cover” I really am just hurt by

the way those boys treated Donnie just because he was

different they did not treat him with Respect, Kindness,

and Fairness like they would with other kids. Just because

he's from somewhere else does not mean he can't live in

peace like everyone else. Everyone's different so they

have no right to treat him the way they do.
